alraicercsu (166), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA Jan 13, 2009 Bottle. Poured a hazy red color. Smells well doesn’t really have much of a smell. Tastes of cranberry and a light sweet and sour. Not bad but really took up room in the sample pack. amishcaravan (237), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jan 10, 2009 pours a hazy ruby color. has some light cranberry taste with a brief sweet finish. kind of a sour after taste. i was not very impressed with this beer. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA Jan 8, 2009 Not a bad fruit beer but not much like a true Lambic, more a like a slightly acidic cranberry soda. carruthm (1112), Seattle, Washington, USA Jan 8, 2009 slight acidic cranberry taste and aroma, pleasant, with a slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Block (363), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jan 6, 2009 Pours a bright head with a slightly pink head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is malty at first then the sweet fruitiness comes in. Some yeast at the finish. Hard glass to finish. ILoveNewBeer (113), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jan 6, 2009 Not a bad beer. I like the flavor of this beer, I wasn’t sure what to think of S.A. making a Lambic but they did it well.
Keep up the good work. Hbuck72 (122), Chickasha, Oklahoma, USA Jan 6, 2009 Updated: May 4, 2009Nicy amber/ruby color, smells of malt and fruit. Nice tart fruit flavor. Not much lacing on the glass.
Good Beer, just like most Sam Adams Products that I have tried. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jan 5, 2009 12 oz, bb Mar 09. Hazy, copper with some reddish tints. Lasting eighth-inch of cream leaves some cottony lace. Aroma is of some sort of spiced, tart berry and slight metallic ozone. Flavor is ozone, tart berries, applesauce with spices, and a hint of cream. Some light wheat and spiced banana in the aftertaste. Light-medium body is acidic-tingly, a little too fizzy, and finishes almost dry.
