Samuel Adams Cranberry Lambic

This is one of the off putting beers i have ever tasted. It tasted like a burnt cranberries. just not good...i dont know the reason that this beer is ever produced.

From a 12oz bottle this beer looks like a carbonated red grapefruit juice. Smells of cranberry, sugar - taste is cranberry, with a very sour/tart aftertaste. One is all I can ever drink at a time and I usually have to be in the right mood for that. I only get them once a year when I pick up the Sam Adams Holiday pack. Boston Beer finally made the right move and got the Sam Adams Light out of the Holiday pack - now it needs to do the same for this beer. Stick the Black Lager in the pack instead. Of course this is probably the only time they move any of their Lambic - by packaging it with other decent beers. Oh well.

It’s different. I’m not a big fruit beer fan. The aroma is really strong of something other than beer (mostly cranberry), appearance is a reddish haze, flavor is of slight cranberry, and palate is very light and almost airy. It feels like when I get a mouth full, I didn’t get quite enough. Hard to explain. Not bad, not the best though.

Looked like that carbonated juice you buy at the store. Tasted like a fruit wine. Little cranberry taste. I am not a fan of fruit beers. This tasted like a damn wine cooler. Not my favorite, and I don’t want to try this again.

Bottle. Poured a hazy red color. Smells well doesn’t really have much of a smell. Tastes of cranberry and a light sweet and sour. Not bad but really took up room in the sample pack.

pours a hazy ruby color. has some light cranberry taste with a brief sweet finish. kind of a sour after taste. i was not very impressed with this beer.

Not a bad fruit beer but not much like a true Lambic, more a like a slightly acidic cranberry soda.

slight acidic cranberry taste and aroma, pleasant, with a slightly fizzy mouthfeel.
