Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

A decent holiday beer. I purchased it in a variety pack, and even though I have enjoyed the one bottle that I got, I wouldn’t want another one.

Despite the ratings this beer has received, I was quite the fan. Pours a hazy red with a small white head. Nice aroma of cranberry with a malt background. The cranberry flavor isn’t overpowering at all either. It compliments the malt character very well. Refreshing too. I bet this would compliment food very well. Worth a try for sure.

Yeasty Me Beasty! Not one to search out. Lots of carbonation which seems to applify a burst of tartness that quickly dissapates. It is the dud of the box.

Bottle-The worst of the seasonal pack and the worst Sam Adams I have ever had. Just nasty man, no convulsions or dry heaves but it generally sucked ass.

~Pours a cloudy orange red color with creamy pinkish head. ~Wheat, yeast and a tart fruitiness in the scent. ~Wheat and cranberry flavor with some spicy yeast and subtle hops. ~Light to medium feel, chalky almost with sour and tartness. ~I think this is pretty good. May not be similar to Belgian Lambics but it is good in its own right. I had it in a shaker and a flute. Much much better in a flute glass. Definetely goes good with bird meat.

Smell is cranberry, maple, wheat, sweet, and yeast. Look is a reddish amber color, clear, and with an off white head. Thin feel and dryish. Taste is canberry, other fruits, yeast.

12oz bottle. Pours a pinkish amber with a large pink head. Aroma is overly yeasty, making me think they went way too far with the Belgian concept and forgot the lambic part. There is a hint of tart fruit in the nose as well. Some tart cranberry flavor, but it is overpowered by the yeastiness. Seeing as I am not a big fan of yeasty beers to begin with, I had to dump this one.
