Aroma is sweet, slightly spicy, almost like a belgian triple. Flavor is not as sweet as the aroma would lead you to believe. Slight tartness from the cranberries. Aroma is sugary sweet and slightly smoky. Flavor is sweet but not as sweet as I was expecting for a lambic. The cranberries lend a sour/tart quality that is actually quite nice. Medium body and a less than satisfying finish. Not superb, but better than I was expecting based on the reviews. milljam (569), Norman, Oklahoma, USA

Way too sweet, flavors are completely unbalanced. Disappointing that SA every brewed something like this. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 5, 2008 Bottle from a Seasonal Pack. Pours a cloudy red amber with a large white head that quickly fades. Taste is of cranberries, malt, wheat and alcohol. Kind of sweet and tart. Easy to drink, but the cranberry taste feels artificial. Aroma is much the same, but toned down. Not a bad beer, but something about it seems off. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 4, 2008 Bottle. Aroma starts off wheaty with some sugary cranberry, some weird musty notes. Weirdness just grows in both the nose and then the flavor. Musty, yogurty, sweet-musty cranberries. Maybe some vegetal qualities, hard to tell if that was part of the plan or not. Very odd and not enjoyable. RasterMaster (121), , Oklahoma, USA

Aroma of soured malty fruits with slight taste of tart cranberry that is mostly reminiscent of flat diet cherry 7-up. This is one Samuel Adams could leave out of the holiday package. gringo332 (238), Richardson, Texas, USA
