Lousy Cranberry flavor too. I can finish this but just barely - it’s on the very bottom rung of drinkability. bpar73 (12), Bellaire, Michigan, USA

I get two of these every year from a friend’s winter variety pack and they are tolerable enough..

This is the first time I’ve tried a lambic that wasn’t brewed in Belgium. I will stick to the Belgians from now on. alexkeil (20), New York, USA

This winter when I buy the variety pack, I’ll probably do it all over again phishpond417 (1914), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 17, 2008 This beer pours a golden, orangeish colour with a small thin white head. While i wasn’t extremely impressed with this beer on lambic terms, I did find suprisingly pleasent and easy to enjoy, despite its lack of carbonation and structure. It’s a calm, soft silky mouthfeel- well balanced, just a little weak thats all. tart in the finish. Nik925 (303), California, USA

Very interesting, and its nice to see a big American brewer using wild yeast, but I wont be buying any of this next winter. smeltdipper (8), Boyne City, Michigan, USA does not count | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | May 21, 2008 I had great expectations for this beer since overall the Sam Adams beers are usually above average. The aroma was nice. Slightly fruity and refreshing. The taste however was less impressive. I rarely (almost never) fail to finish a beer. Even Camo gets muscled down if needed. I poured this out after several sips of disbelief. I tried to like it but the taste was overwhelmingly medicinal. Almost like taking cough syrup. Overall I was disappointed in this one.
