Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

Pours grapefruit amber with pretty tiny head. Nose of tart cranberry and malt. By no means can this ever pass for a lambic. Its a little sour, but artificial. Dry finish with a very mellow, low key aftertaste. Honestly, this is sub par.

Smells simple of cranberries. Pours a peachy red with no head. Tastes fruity and some wheat. A little sourness but overall not complex.

Came in the usual Sam Adams Sampler Pack. A little too sweet for my tastes. Nothing special here.

Nobody likes this. You get it in the Winter sampler and it’s left over. I like it fine. Golden color, cranberry taste and finishes dry. It’s a nice mix in the Winter Sampler. Evens out the Holiday Porter, Fezzywig, and Winter Ale. Come on, people!

I think this lambic is definitely underated. It’s too sweet and fruity for my taste but if you like that type of stuff it’s a good one to try

Very disappointed. Smelled of strong cranberries. Pours a pinkish hue. Felt very thick on the tongue. Could not finish the entire bottle.
