WillieV (191), Maryland, USA Feb 2, 2008 Bottle: Smells sweet.. looks sweet.. is too sweet. Wont be having again. Very disappointed. tbzinger9 (4), Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA does not count Jan 31, 2008 Very disappointed. Smelled of strong cranberries. Pours a pinkish hue. Felt very thick on the tongue. Could not finish the entire bottle. rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Jan 30, 2008 Yuck, this has the aroma of cranberries. and the the taste, i cant really say much more, i dumped it out after 2 sips. Coreyryan09 (16), USA Jan 30, 2008 i really enjoyed this beer, i got it out of there holiday pack, it poured a nice fruity taste, did have sort of an unpleasnt after taste...very good for cooking though....i cook my dear meat in beer and so far this gives it the best flavor kwoeltje (1313), Manchester, Missouri, USA Jan 27, 2008 (bottle) Pinkish-amber. Aroma is cranberry and clove. Flavor is like canned jellied cranberries, not fresh cranberries. None of the sour notes I’d expect from a lambic. bluemooner (230), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jan 26, 2008 This was ok for a cranberry lambic. I do not particularly enjoy the taste of cranberries and the taste was rather overpowering for me. However, if you feel like cranberry, ok lambic. Swalden28 (1442), McKinney, Texas, USA Jan 24, 2008 I was dissapointed in this lambic....I guess I had high expectations for it and I will rate this for the style it is supposed to be......I am comparing this to the Framboise, which I thought represented true to style. This Sam Adams lambic poured somewhat clear, I expected cloudy. The head was ok. Can taste the wheat malt. Too carbonated, obviously forced carbonated. Does not have a creamy body feel that I expected in a lambic. Aroma was good though, but hell, it’s cranberry. It was not horrible, was tasty, but would not buy again..... Ghett0Gary (23), Belmar, New Jersey, USA Jan 23, 2008 Very strong/unpleasing cranberry scent. Bitter taste and very carbonated. More like a carbonated juice than a beer. Bitter aftertaste. Not impressed and would not consider a winter beer. Could be good to cook with.
