I rarely will not finish a beer, and this one was up there with unfinishable. So syrupy. So gross. Like bad cough medicine. Booo! ketchepillar (478), Viña del Mar, Chile

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Sampled via variety pack and from a 12-oz bottle at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a semi-clear orange amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates clean. Aroma of tart cranberry and tart berries with a touch of multi-grain malt. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a complex mixture of tart berry, multi-grain and wheat malt and some grassy hops. Finish is slightly tart and bitter but nothing even close to the Belgian lambics. beerlord (215), tonawanda, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Sour fruit aroma from a cloudy medium ruby body with no head. Slight sweet/ sour flavor of cranbereries and malt. Not bad, not a lambic by any definition of the style. Mediium mouth feel slightly over carbonated. jdjuice (203), Japan

I have no idea why they call it a lambic if it’s not a lambic. It’s an average malty beer with a fair amount of cranberry flavor over top of it. Fairly refreshing, not bad. Probably would get a higher rating if labeled differently. The crandberry is just enough in the beer to not over power but give you that fresh taste in your mouth, I enjoy it very much. TyRip (40), Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 28, 2007 A novel idea, but I just can’t get over the artificially sweet and artificially bittering taste of the cranberry flavoring. I admit I am not such a fan of fruited beers, but this is a far cry from Magic Hat #9 in my opinion. bigcat03 (191), Lincoln, Nebraska, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Poured this into a flute on 12/6/07. An orange-copper color with a 1 knuckle off white head. Malt, cranberry and wheat on the aroma. Cranberry, apple, malt, and white zinfindel initially. Watered down cranberry juice, lots of malt, and wheat on a tart aftertaste. Body is on the watery side of medium with good carbonation. A fruit beer, but hardly lambic. Cranberry Wheat would be an appropriate name. Not bad if you need a thrist quencher.
