Clear red orange with white bubbly long lasting head. Smell is slightly metallic (even as it warms). Doesn’t smell too fruity (perhaps a hint of cranberry and orange peel - but really not that much at all). Very sweet taste that is slightly tart - but not overly so. Not very complex at all. High carbnation and thin body. Sweet taste left in mouth. Just average - nothing special at all.

Dec 23, 2007 12 oz bottle Reddish pour with a pink head. Fruity aroma. This is no lambic; more like a cranberry wheat. Possibly the worst beer Boston Beer makes.

Dec 23, 2007 Pours pinkish-red with a large pink tinted head as well. Smell is cherry, cranberry and a hit of wit-bier like aroma and slight funk wit-bier yeast. Interesting taste. Definitely getting some wheat in the finish and prior are some slightly sweet and tart cranberry and fruity notes. Bit too thin bodied and flavored however. Comes off like a thin cranberry wheat beer rather than a lambic, which it isn’t even classified as. Interesting beer that is worth a shot, but not a repeat buy for me.

Dec 22, 2007 YUCK! Maybe I guess I just don’t like lambic, but yuck....just a minute let me go get something to get the flavor out of my mouth. Bitter, cranberry. Cranberries don’t belong in beer. Don’t bother.

Dec 21, 2007 Minimal white head, but maybe that was just the pour. Reddish translucent body... Cranberry smell is all I could pick out of the aroma. Taste is of cranberries and dryness... didn’t really pick out any real complexity. A Christmas beer for chicks.

Dec 21, 2007 Updated: Jan 19, 2008Maybe something was wrong with my bottle but i couldn’t even finish this. I’ve enjoyed there cherry wheat which isn’t a fruit beer, but something was wrong with this one, i hope there not all like this. My best description for this would be poisned cranberry juice. 1/19/08 - From the sam winter pack thats been in my fridge since the first ratting, this one is just as bad if not worse, yuck!

Dec 20, 2007 Pours pink like cheap champagne, very fine white head. Aroma of sweet cranberrys and little yeast. First taste is very tart and puckering... that fades and each sip thereafter is of light cranberrys, more on the sweet side than the bitter side of cranberrys.... sparkling watered-down cranberry juice... wish that tart sourness of the first taste stood up. Strange cereal aftertaste. Surprisingly nice attempt at a lambic...has that tartness, some dustiness.. just seems a bit detached.
