Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

Ruby color with a tight, silky head. Aroma is strong with fruity cranberry and sour trash in the background. Flavor is sweet up front with no tartness and some malt. Similar to mineral water with some fruit juice. Like most people I’m not a fan of this effort.

I’m not sure that this is considered a beer. It was very sweet almost like a bad juice but it was still a good taste and was good for what it was.

Bottle, aroma, is funky but not in a good way like lambics often are. Smells like Ocean Spray. Slight tart notes and some rather metallic notes as well. Tart taste but am not sure about the yeast choice doesn’t appear to be Brett at all. Its ok but once again in my opinion SA tamed this one down too much for public consumtion.

From bottle : Pours hazy kinda reddish color with half finger of foamy white head. Aroma is cranberry. Tart taste on the end, and some cranberry. Medium body with that tart end, and a bitter feel on the palate.

Looks like a lager. Smells like thier Cherry Wheat. The taste is just too fake for words. Too sweet, too carbonated, so one dimensional. That being said I would drink it over mass produced crap on any day.

Bottle. Pours a reddish hue with a pinkish white head. The cranberry definitely comes through in the nose. Tartish fruit taste which still allows the malt flavor. I expected this to be horrible, and while not great, I was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle. Pours a reddish orange color with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a malty cranberry. decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a malty fruit with a sweet finish. My first fruit beer and it was meh.

Normally do not care for Lambics so I was not too excited about this one. Smells sweet and tastes mildly tart. Not as over powering as more exotic Lambics which made it tolerable for me.
