Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

Slightly hazy light red colour. Small white head. Cranberry fruit aroma. There is cranberry in the flavour but also a surprising amount of wood. Average palate. Why did Sam Adams even make this beer? A proper lambic doesn’t need to remind its drinker that he’s a man drinking beer.

Pours cloudy amber color. Light bodied with a huge cranberry flavor. Very good. Some carmel taste, and some hoppyness. Drink cold, taste like shit warm as well.

Slightly hazy light amber body with a medium frothy white head. Slightly tart cranberry aroma with some wheat hints. Sweet slightly woody flavor with some light cranberry and a bit of caramel background, but fairly one dimensional.

Pours OK with nice amberesque color and then your overpowered with the taste of fruit and hops which in my opinion shouldn’t go together – at least to this degree. Not the worst winter seasonal I’ve had but not good enough to pay for again

Holiday pack. I actually like this beer. Has a nice red color and you could certainly taste and smell the aroma of cranberries and other spices and fruits. A good sweet beer.

Reddish color. Smell of malt, rust, copper, zinc, pie crust and cranberry juice. Taste is not that pleasant. Taste of malt, tart cranberries, copper wheat and sugary. Very flat.
