COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

I love this brew. Not a HUGE fan of Samel Adams but this is a really good one. It’s festive, has a great taste, and easy to drink. I like this brew at room temperature rather than cold but either way, you can’t go wrong with this brew.

Perfect aperitif for beer drinkers, this Lambic taste very good, but it is now a real lambic? The color is not pretty as it looks like a smoothie with peaches and apples. scent is sweet, heavy, spicy and fruity. slightly sweet fruit flavors but not a lambic as we know them. Most of all, a fruit beer.

Bottle. Aroma is decent but medicinal of cherries and cranberries. Pours a nice red with a brown hue and a small white head. Flavor is medicinal cherries and cranberries...kind of gag-inducing. Medium body, sticky. This is grotesque.

Bottle pours orange/amber with an off-white head. Aroma shows notes of cranberry, orange peel, banana, vanilla, and a touch of wheat. Flavor shows basically the same.

Orange-red in color. Aroma is bananas, yeast and dried fruit. Flavor is malt and fruit. Not much cranberry. Not a lambic.

First off, THIS IS NOT A SPONTANEOUSLY FERMENTED FRUIT LAMBIC!!! If you read their info on the beer they say it is "lambic style". (cranberries?? what cranberries??) I found it a bland, disappointing effort from Sam Adams.

Reviewed from notes. My dad always buys the Sam Adams seasonal variety packs. I used to love that he was showing an interest in craft; now, it’s about all here drinks. Long story short, I shouldn’t have to drink this again any time soon. Pours a faint amber orange color with an off white head. Nose is loads of cranberry juice. The taste adds in a bit of caramel, but this makes it taste more like some caramel candies have been soaking in a glass of slightly-carbonated cranberry juice cocktail overnight. Feel is a bit cloying and a bit tart. Poor drinkability. Many of the winter pack beers are pretty decent; this one is not. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-16-2010

Pours a cloudy orange-red color; foamy white head. Aroma of belgian yeast and aroma. Taste is has notes of cranberry, yeast, clove, and some spicy notes, maybe cinnamon. Fairly sweet but not overly so. Just a bit of tartness but not as much as you’d expect from a beer made with cranberries. Creamy texture and very drinkable. Hardly a lambic but I actually like this quite a bit. I’ll buy it again.
