505 (271), Echo Park, California, USA Nov 8, 2006 Pours golden with a slight pink to this. Taste is kind of malty, lots of cranberry, but not enough lambic, and pretty yucky finish. Not much to rave about. I might pour this if nobody else want it. I’m just not in the mood. babak (18), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Nov 6, 2006 nice aroma, cranberry is very prevalent. sweet and tart flavor. Crisp, bu not a great mouthfeel. hindan02 (24), macomb, Michigan, USA Nov 6, 2006 it had a nice taste good color and a decent head but it didnt stand out to me as far as fruit goes i think the cherry wheat is a much better choice hiphops (280), caldwell, New Jersey, USA Nov 5, 2006 tan and orange foamy head. smells liek cranveeries and pickles. almost taste like a buttery chardonnay. crisp and almost refreshign the aftertaste is a little strange but i can still fuck with this Ritterkreuz (179), Seneca Falls, New York, USA Nov 5, 2006 I must say, I was quite surprised. The cranberry flavor really comes through, even in the after taste. This is only available where I live as part of a holiday pack. cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 4, 2006 Updated: Dec 31, 2007Steamed vegatable aroma. Light orange in my steeler stein with a film on top. . Slightly rude, old stale orange juice flavor with a little western PA dirt mixed in. No sweetness detected. Finish is not bitter. Ive tasted a few Sammy Adams but this is an odd one. Not their finest hour. I almost bought two bottles on the reviews stated here but I’m glad I did not. High on the gag reflexometer. Many raters do not consider this to be a true lambic, but I must say this is the only regular beer, I’ve ever tasted, that has a similarity to Cantillon. Delirium (495), Santa Cruz, California, USA Nov 4, 2006 Updated: Dec 8, 2007Bottle. Pours reddish-orange with a moderate white head. Aroma is very strongly of banana, kind of like a hefeweizen but sweeter and fruitier, with a hint of spice, a very small tinge of sourness, and maybe a hint of cranberry. Flavor is heavier on the cranberry, though still with banana flavors, finishing with a mixture of fruity sweetness and a hint of cranberry sourness, with a bit of spice. This is actually surprisingly interesting, and in my opinion much better than most ratings suggest, although it’s not particularly easy-drinking and could do with a little less sweetness. It’s certainly no lambic, but it’s an interesting cranberry-wheat beer. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Nov 2, 2006 Bottle; wheaty hefe-like nose with bamama and cranverry esters; slighty hazy copper colored with a medium, quick-disapating cream-colored head; flavor show the cranberries, bananas, and spices especially nutmeg, with a very mildly tart finish!.
