3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Golden orange colour with an average short lasting head. Aroma has plenty of cranberries and some wheat. The flavour is a little sweet and somewhat sour too, plenty of cranberry. Clean fresh finish. Far from a real Belgian lambiek beer, more like a fruit flavored beer. But I guess this one is more friendly to the regular beer drinkers than a real lambiek.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
For an American macro attempt at a lambic it is ok. But compared to real lambics it falls short. A bit too tart. Easy to drink on Thanksgiving, but not too much otherwise. Cranberry flavor is there for sure...just an ok beer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
It’s unclear, orange-red with a lasting, creamy head. The aroma has notes of cranberries, a light berry sourness, light sweetness and wheat. The flavour is sweet with notes of creanberries, wheat and a little yoghurt. It’s smooth and sweet, very far from the lambic style, and too sweet in the long run.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2003 I'm glad this is classified as a fruit beer instead of a lambic.
Nothing lambic-like about it. A good looking, but very mediocre beer. Light and refreshing so it will appeal to many palates. However, BBC shouldn't be allowed to market this as a "lambic." It's like allowing a California winery to refer to its "sparkling wine" as "Champagne." Kinda pisses me off. Misleads the uneducated.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle @ home, picked picked up at Wilbur’s in Fort Collins as a single. This isn’t in the 12 mixed pack this year, so I’m not sure if they got six packs of it and split it up or what. Incredibly cloudy, pinkish brown appearance with a pinkish cream colored head. Somewhat spicy, maple, light caramel, tart mild cranberry, red fruity aroma. Slightly tart, cranberry, light apple, kind of dull toffee, caramel, maple flavor. I thought I remembered this being a lot more tart but maybe that’s just what I thought it should be. This tastes pretty dull.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of artificial cranberries and some wheat. Flavors of stronger wheat and weaker cranberries.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Let me start off by saying I like cranberries. Cranberry bread, cranberry muffins...but not cranberry beer. The aroma was interesting but I barely finished the bottle, and had to drink it in short doses to get through. Just not my thing I guess.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2003 Light orange golden color with a nice white head, with lots and lots of lacing. Smells like trail mix, a decent blend of cranberries, raisens and nuts. First taste is sweet and sour, very well balanced. Mid-drink is a little lighter than expected and enjoyed, so it loses points there. End of drink is quite dry, and slightly sour, and eventually saves this one. Not even close to a lambic, just a regular fruit beer.
