Obviously this isnt a lambic, its not spontaneously fermented, yet this beer is very enjoyable. Wheat is evident, and cranberry flavor is very enjoyable. Maple syrup notes are barely noticeable, but definately there. Ive enjoyed this brew for many years. A holiday classic. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 21, 2004 Wow. I’m surprised the ratings for this beer are so low. I really enjoyed it, despite the fact that it’s not a true lambic. Of course, as I haven’t yet beem furtunate enough to try the real thing, I like this fine. Nice amber coloring with a thin, white head. Malty aroma with a touch of fruitiness. Flavor is refreshingly sour with a sharp, tangy acidity from the cranberries ... almost a sweet and sour thing going on. Slighty thick on the palate ... a good, refreshing winter drink, I thought. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2006 (Bottle) Pours an orange color. Interesting aroma of cranberry and Belgian yeast. I picked up quite a bit of Cranberry in the taste. Rather sweet, but nicely balanced by some tartness. Not really a typical lambic, like the name suggests. Pretty decent. Not nearly as bad (in my opinion) as some people have rated it. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 3, 2005 Poured pale with a slight reddish hue, with a small white head which left some lacing. Corny pale lager aroma. Taste is skunky pale lager with a small hint of cranberries. Terrible... a complete failure of a beer. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Aug 5, 2007 I’m a beer newbie. I don’t even know what a lambic is. I was given this at a football tailgate. It looked nice (although I don’t know if I want a beer looking that much like fruit juice), smelled nice, but was just horrible. One of the 3 beers I’ve had in my life that I just couldn’t finish. The cranberry was just way too strong and I’m not fond of whatever that aftertaste was either. Thinking about this one almost makes me sick redlem (1155), Illinois, USA

this gets worse the more I try. Very bad and drinkable. gws57 (1151), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 3, 2003 Very different. It's dry, almost tart. Cranberry nose, with a hint of sweetness early. Little foamy head, but a beautiful amber color, almost a strawberry blonde.
