Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

best part off the beer is the appearance which is reddish amber, but not really appropriate for a lambic. flavor has some cranberry but overall is just sugary sweetness and would never be conffused with a lambic. almost undrinkable

(bottle BBMar): Very pale golden color, foamy white head, good lacing. Very cranberry, sour aroma. Almost like sour cherries. Mild sweet cranberry taste. Not malty or hoppy, but bready. Not very fizzy.

Dry, cranberry flavor. Palate is smooth, but the rest of the beer was disapointing. Not a true lambic, which was also disappointing. Good lacce which added a little to the appearance.

Pours what appears to be a golden colored beer with a pinkish tint to it, nice foamy white head. Aroma is wheat and cranberry. Nice tartness to it.

I personally feel this beer is underrated compared to many beers out there but as a lambic, it doesn’t have the fruitiness or sourness I’ve enjoyed from many of those brews. But, it has an ice-cream-like sweet wheat-like flavor which seems more like cherries than cranberries. I am not a fan of this as a lambic but I can’t say its not drinkable either. I like how the carbonation isn’t too high which means it avoids that wine cooler quality I associate with some brands of Lindemans.

Tastes like they really mixed an ale and Oceanspray. Has a little bit of bit to it. Its ok for a beer, but its no lambic.

Crappy cranberry undertones, with a mess of cereal flavours. A "rare wild yeast strain" doesn’t make this a lambic...ish.
