jdjuice (202), Japan Dec 30, 2007 Not as bad as most people are making it out to be. Sure, it’s not a lambic. I have no idea why they call it a lambic if it’s not a lambic. It’s an average malty beer with a fair amount of cranberry flavor over top of it. Fairly refreshing, not bad. Probably would get a higher rating if labeled differently.
marksahara (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 7, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear crimson red with minimal crown. Aroma is reminiscent of a hint of wheat malt, some yeast, but predominantly comprised of cranberries. Flavour is bitter from the beginning - the cranberries are featured up front and don’t fade, even after the taste is over. Spritely carbonation makes this taste like a cranberry soda, since there is a good bit of sweetness in this light-bodied beer. The finish is crisp and bitter, but does leave a hint of yeast on the palate with a good helping of cranberries. Mouthfeel is a bit oily for me, though it is very likable. Definitely a beer that deifies common conceptions of what a beer can be. Someone who does not like traditional beers should try this. borgination (95), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Oct 5, 2008 I really liked this beer. It is a good chhristmas time drink. Has a nice but not to strong cranberry taste to it. nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Sep 18, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear red with a tan head. Aroma of cranberry. Flavor was very fruity. Would have appreciated a little balance here. Beerman6686 (780), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2008 Pours a ruby red color with an off white head. Aroma is lots of sour cranberries and thats about it. Flavor was just sickley cranberry flavor,a nd definately not good or not a lambic. Beer_2000 (1269), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 12, 2008 355 ml bottle. Amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of artificial fruit. Flavor is sweet with a rather weak fruit flavor and not particular sour either. A bit weird.
