COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

I couldn’t take this beer. It’s very sweet, almost doesn’t taste like beer. Not very good, can’t recommend this to anyone.

Bottle. I’m not a big fan of lambics, so I probably shouldn’t be rating this beer...however, this beer was very bitter with a faux cranberry flavor. Looked good in the glass though.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2006 what an odd beer. pours with a very faint reddish tinge to beer and a lasting creamy head. aroma of yes belgian yeast, but it seems like it is artificial somehow. cranberries not really noticable in aroma or taste. more of a lager mouthfeel, lacks any tartness associated with a lambic. actually finishes kind of sweet. this gets worse the more I try. Very bad and drinkable.

Bottle from a variety 24-pack. Pours kinda red. This beer smells like rotten Craisins. Flavor of old buttermilk, stale fruit, shit, and sugar substitute. What a great beer.

Every winter I attempt to finish one of these, but can’t manage to get past that first sip. Awful. Note: not actually classified as a lambic.

Smells alright but the taste is really way too sweet. You suddenly feel like you drank a bottle of cranberry syrup. I wish they would take this out of the winter sample pack.

Possibly the worst beer ever? Certainly a nominee. Not much else to say. Only thing to do is write the 75 characters required to post the rating, I guess.

I don’t believe in drain pours, so I after a few swallows I gave the rest of my pint to a friend. She liked it, I hated it. Too wine like and I hate wine. Yuck!

Cloudy blond color. Strange aroma, I would say… bad (vanilla, parmesan cheese, cakes...). Sweet flavor (but not sticky), poor but with some similar bad elements as the aroma. Undrinkable.
