COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

Cloudy blond color. Strange aroma, I would say… bad (vanilla, parmesan cheese, cakes...). Sweet flavor (but not sticky), poor but with some similar bad elements as the aroma. Undrinkable.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2006 Ewww. This is absolutely awful. Pours a weird pinkish orange. Tastes like the stuff the dentist rubs on your gums before he gives you the novacaine. Drinking this is pure torture. Please stop adding this to the Christmas sampler, this blows monkey asses.

pours a copper color with decent carbination and a tart cranberry smell. taste is in line with the smell. maybe this is from last year as i cant imagine this beer getting better with time. it is quite bad and i cant even finish the beer. maybe a skunked bottle but real bad.

Sweet lord this beer is tart! Cranberry flavor takes over the flavor and never lets got for an unsatisfying, puke inducing mouthful.

First off, THIS IS NOT A SPONTANEOUSLY FERMENTED FRUIT LAMBIC!!! If you read their info on the beer they say it is "lambic style". (cranberries?? what cranberries??) I found it a bland, disappointing effort from Sam Adams.

Probably the worst beer I’ve ever had, and that’s saying alot considering I’m not that picky. It looks alright, but it tastes disgusting...the cranberry combined with the wheaty taste simply does not work. Don’t even waste your time.

I dont think they should have a cranberry beer. the last time i had some the flavor was very bitter of barley.
