As a ’lambic’ it fails miserably; but, as a fruit beer it works quite well. Visually, this beer was a clear amber with a white head. The taste was very similar to their Cherry Wheat. The cranberries gave it a more tart (less sweet) palate. The nose provided faint hints of fruit, I would have liked it to more prominent. Cranberry Lambic lacks the complexity of true ’lambics’ that I have sampled. It misses the seemingly murky character. There is no trace to the pervasive fragrance.
A mixed bag that is a good drink. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA

Nose is cranberry tart, malt, crisp and fresh. The start cloyingly sweet, the top skimpy, the finish is sour/tart, noticeable acidity, the hops apropos for the style, with a droughty aftertaste. Ranks #895 on my current 1000 beer master list. HoppyKev (50), Redford, Michigan, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2006 Poured from bottle. Smells nice, like cran muffin at first, but gets gassy after poured. Cran dominates in flavor, but it is sweet, which I guess lambics are supposed to be. Sticky mouthfeel. One of my least favorite styles, but this stuff really not too bad - quite drinkable, in fact. I would like to try other cran beers in different styles. jayme9874 (756), Hamburg, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 29, 2001 Very pale amber. Creamy head with very ’soft’ wheat nose. Doesnt know when it wants to be tart or sweet. To me, its lacking in balance and firmness. Its refreshing but needs something more. But definitley worth a try fro something different. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 25, 2001 A bit weak for a wheat beer. A hint of cranberry in the flavor. In the end it was just an all around weak beer. Although, not bad nothing stands out about it. JessterCPA (130), Wayne, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 11, 2001 Sour? Yes but I think that with the cranberry flavor, that was planned. Probably the most un-fruit fruit beer I have had. Not bad with food, especially spicy. oneeye1399 (28), Pasadena, California, USA
