Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it is brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the rare wild yeast strain. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries and bananas, cloves and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also will create a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, a signature of the original Lambic style which, with the subtle cereal note from the wheat malt, remind its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it is still a beer.

From a bottle, pours a golden amber color with a fairly small head. Sour aroma. Sour taste, too--with more than a hint of cranberries. The first sip was a little shocking but once I got used to it, I found myself enjoying the beer. Not much "heft", but I’m not sure there is supposed to be. I’m no epxert on Lambics by any means so take my rating with a grain of salt. Not a bad beer in general though.

Holiday 12 pack: Peach amber color with a small fading off white head. Aroma is honey sweet with a hint of cranberry. Flavor starts sweet and fruity finishing lightly sour and tart. Crisp and refreshing, but just an average beer.

Slightly hazy amber with a smaller cream colored head. Cranberries upon a freshly mowed lawn aroma. Sweet cranberries with a mild tartness, which I would contribute more to the cranberries than any yeastie beastie. My mom likes this one. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.

Not as bad as I had expected. It didn’t sound all that good, but it’s drinkable if you like fruit beers (I could see how some people would be turned off by this one). Definitely dry and tart as the description states.

Not gonna discuss whether it is a lambic...but it is perfectly drinkable. Not the best fruit beer; only because the fruit semms more like an afterthought, Sort of like a good winter wheat with a shot of cranberry juice. Looked good, aroma was really small and hard to describe. A little tart but not overly so. Not as good as the Fezzwig in the hliday pack.

Yeasty wheat nose. Flavor is slightly sour, with a musty taste. Cranberry is subtle. Small head, pale amber body. A Lambic-lite.

Bottle massive thanks to hopscotch! Pours a muddy brown, but nice head. Aroma is lightly aciic, fruity, lacking somewhat but wheaty notes and quite unusal indeed. Taste is a strange sensation that takes quite a while to get used too, but thin cranberry juice is very noticeable aswell as other acidic dry fruit flavours. Theres no denying this isnt a top beer but its refreshing and im quite glad i have another.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a hazy medium orange color with some yellow hues and a thin layer of alabaster bubbles. Light grains, funky yeast, orange, cranberry and lemon with sour notes. Light to medium bodied, crisp and well carbonated. Ending is malty with some sweet and sour notes.
