greenleaf (83), Florida, USA May 4, 2008 12oz bottle. This beer would take some getting used to. WHile it is a lambic and very far out of the american range of beers, it can not compare to its belgium brothers and sister. Overall, a boo.
bpar73 (11), Bellaire, Michigan, USA Jul 14, 2008 With apologies to those who see fruit in beer as a sacrilege and those with a particular hatred for this one. I get two of these every year from a friend’s winter variety pack and they are tolerable enough..
derekbang (93), Indiana, USA Jul 12, 2008 I’ve enjoyed lambics but this one is terrible. I have yet to find anyone that will finish a bottle. Too much like cough syrup. Poured mine out. gameface23 (58), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle...Awful. I love usually enjoy fruity lambics. This is the first time I’ve tried a lambic that wasn’t brewed in Belgium. I will stick to the Belgians from now on. alexkeil (14), USA Jul 3, 2008 I love the Sam Adams winter variety pack, I get it every year - and every year I try the cranberry lambic and say "This is the year I will find something to like about cranberry lambic" and every year I conclude there is nothing good about this tart and confusing brew. This winter when I buy the variety pack, I’ll probably do it all over again phishpond417 (1231), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 This beer pours a golden, orangeish colour with a small thin white head. While i wasn’t extremely impressed with this beer on lambic terms, I did find suprisingly pleasent and easy to enjoy, despite its lack of carbonation and structure. It’s a calm, soft silky mouthfeel- well balanced, just a little weak thats all. tart in the finish.
