COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2004 well, this was one of the origonal ratings on the site, so i decided to give it a proper rating. pours 92% black with a brown head that coated the rim of the glass. chocolate, coffee, rich roast, pretty much standard for the fair. flavors are slightly sour coffee, and chocolate notes. . not a bad offering from Sam adams-could be their best!.

Wonderful Coffee aroma, a hint of chocolate flavoring, and a beautiful dark tone with a pale tan head. A true delight to consume.

Very flavorful stout. Had this one right after a pint of Guiness and was not the least bit dissapointed.

Just about the most boring ’stout’ I can think of. Very watery mouthfeel, bad hop selection, and little flavor--just some hints of roasted malt. Blah.

It is a great local beer, has good flavor. Starting to find more and more Sam Adam’s type beers that I am enjoying.

Dark as night with a golden brown head that lasts. The aroma is of roasted chocolate, just as advertised. Has a pefectly balanced flavor that is perfect sip after sip. This is definitely one of, if not my favorit beers!

I usually don’t like dark beers, but this is a big exception. It smells great, and as for the taste it is strong and full, the taste left in your mouth tastes slightly like caramel, very nice.

An excellent cream stout. Great roasted nose, chocolate/caramel taste with a creamy finish. Best Sam Adams ive tried yet.
