COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Dark as night with a golden brown head that lasts. The aroma is of roasted chocolate, just as advertised. Has a pefectly balanced flavor that is perfect sip after sip. This is definitely one of, if not my favorit beers!

I usually don’t like dark beers, but this is a big exception. It smells great, and as for the taste it is strong and full, the taste left in your mouth tastes slightly like caramel, very nice.

It starts out smooth and continues to a sharp medicinal after taste. It has a decent head retention. **Just found out that the beer I tried outdated Aug 2000 (16 months old). I’ll try a fresh one and then repost.***Tried the ’fresh beer’ and it was much better. Very smooth and has an enjoyable aftertaste. Highly recommended for sweet stout fans.

Really enjoyed this stout. smooth taste. Great head. I didn’t taste the coffee flavor at all. Hardly ever see this one in bars.

Had this 8 years ago, back when I still drank dairy. Wasn’t impresseed with it. Too sweet. If you like English/Cream/Milk/Sweet stouts, this one is cheap, drinkable, and easy to find. Sam Adams is overated overall. Fezzywink (sp?) is their best in my book.
