Commercial Description:
Samuel AdamsŪ Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

12oz bottle from Jans Wine and Boos #1. Pours a dark brown to black color with a one finger tan head that settles quickly and heavily laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of chocolate, heavy cream, some hints of chocolate, roasted malts, slight spice. Flavor is malty and sweet with light roasted notes, some honey and caramel, some candy sugar, hints of burnt toast and dark chocolate. Generally medium body with a creamy sweet finish.

Bottle. Really nice appearance with a nice, dark tan head. Roasty aroma is sweet and inviting. Smooth tasting, semi sweet with plenty of roastiness and coffee flavors. Nice creamy body, sort of silky. Good brew.

Has a nice dark brown pour. Nice sweet malt and chocolate flavors and the aroma of coffee. I like this stout. It stays in the fridge.

Its the water again? Tasted a little off, but I can see where it would be good in a better year. Aroma of coffee and butter toffee, with subtle chocolate flavors and an overall light and refreshing feeling. A very thin bodied-stout. Garnet red in color.

Beer pours from the bottle a very dark black in color with a foamy white head. Aroma is light chocolate and coffee with not much else. Flavor is chocolate sweetness up front with a nice coffee grounds bitterness with lots of roastedness to finish the beer off. Overall pretty good if you roasted malt taste.

smells like powered chocolate and dried fruit. very nice dark body with ruby highlights, head looks alright. initially tasted a little bland but after it warmed up it reminded me of a tamer mackeson XXX stout. i like the texture but its a ittle flatter than id like. great coffee flavor and bitterness. finishes quick and light. if it was just a tiny bit more flavorful id really be into this, but as it stands its just pretty good.
