Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Thin palate very light stout that is somewhat reminiscent of a brown ale. A bit strange mouth feel. It’s ok

Bottle. Dark body, medium to small creamy head. Aroma has sweet roast and something creamy indeed. Medium body, good carbonation. Sweet medium roasty taste with creamy notes and some light milk chocolate. Sweet finish with some coffee notes. A decent stout, everything is nicely done but it’s a bit generic - nothing really stands out to give this beer a memorable character.

A sweet aroma of malt and milk chocolate. The small beige creamy head has a long duration, the body is black. A quite dry and malty taste of coffee and chocolate. The body is light to medium strong, very creamy with a lively carbonation.

Taste is predominantly chocolate milk, except not as sweet. Some roasty and coffee notes as well. Pretty good beer.

En øl der er let sylig, med en kraftig ristet smag. Jeg synes den er "skarp" af en cream stout at være.

Pours a dark brown with a thin, off-white head. Aroma is lactose, chocolate, a touch of vanilla, caramel, toffee, roast, and coffee. Flavor is sweet, creamy lactose, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, toffee, and roast. Has a thin body. This is very good.

Surprised by this one. This has to be my favorite Sam Adams beer. Slightly lactose style smell with chocolate and malt. Pours opaque with a soapy tan head. Taste is sweet with a bitter that seems more like a dark chocolate bitter than a hops bitter. Dark chocolate and coffee taste with a slight vanilla/lactose addition. Smooth, medium to low carbonation. A bit thin/watery on the finish.

330ml bottle. Very dark chestnut brown color. Small size, brown head, stays. Dusty chocolate cake, roasted malts, sweetish, faint supermarket gingerbread in aroma. Dark roasted dry chocolate cake, bit of mint (or more likely spicy hops), sweet and nuts in taste. Roasted malts and nuts in aftertaste. Nice hoppy tingle in my mouth. Reminds me an old home made fruit bread. Quite nice.

Dark brown with a ruby tinge, medium to small creamy tan head. Nose is roasty, some ash, hops, chocolate and coffee in the background. Flavor is mellow coffee, roast, malt, caramel, some mild hops in the semi-dry finish. Lingering roasty acidity. Some roast and ash in the retronasals. Nice balance, very easily drinkable.
