Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of roast, ash, some caramel, toffee, hints of some lactose, touch of earth, coffee, and roast. Taste is a mix of chocolate, roast, some ash, hints of lactose, creamy notes, hints of earth, spice, slight coffee, finishing fairly roasted but slightly sweet, full mouthfeel. Decent, especially as it warmed.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Imaena (846) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Bottle. I have never been too fond of sweet stouts so I tried to be impartial in my rating. Well put together but it falls flat in the flavor dept. Not enough malt depth and the palate is too thin.

Suitably sweet and creamy with chocolate and coffee notes. Nothing revolutionary but solid and quite tasty.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 EtTuCthulhu (396) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - DEC 19, 2012
This beer pours black with a good sized tan head, and the aroma is a mix of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Once sipped, this beer is quite creamy with a full body and soft carbonation, and its taste is a little bitter--like coffee grounds-- and slightly sweet--like creamer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MadRobin (998) - Silver Spring, USA - DEC 11, 2012
Poured from 12 oz. bottle.
Opaque, black-brown with 1/2-finger light brown head and excellent lacing.
Mild aroma of sweet chocolate, roasted malt and cafe au lait.
Taste of roasted malt, cafe au lait and chocolate.
Medium body and high/medium carbonation. Very nice mouthfeel for the style. Not thin or watery at all.
