Commercial Description:
Samuel AdamsŪ Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Roasted malts with traces of toffee on the nose. Dark brown with a thick tan head. Sour roasted malt flavor. Smoke finish. A sour take on Guiness, with noticeable alcohol.

Pours black with small brown head. Coffee aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, chocolate and roasted coffee flavour. Bottle too small :-)

Did not have a heavy feel like I expected and was easy to drink. Tasted as it smelled with chocolate, coffee, and a bit of hopps and espresso. Overall a good beer.

I found this one to be quite palatable for about one bottle. The finish ends kind of quickly, but has an enjoyable mouthfeel as the proper temperature, as it warms, it becomes slightly cloying. Nice and roasty, creamy and smooth. A stout with mass appeal, but not really unique enough for mention in my book.

Aroma of roasted malt, slight hint of dried fruit and some coffee. Also some hops. The flavour is roasty and malty, with a nice hint of hops in the end. Ends quite dry with a nice roasty and somewhat bitter end. Not really sweet enough to be a sweet stout in my book....

Bottle: Almost black pour with a light brown head. Caramel, coffee and something sweet that i cant quite put my finger on. Taste is of a nice dark brew coffee with a very subtle hint of alcohol. Long but very desirable aftertaste.

Dark black with tan head. Nose of weak coffee. Flavor is roasted cofee with some caramel. Body is a bit thin with no real depth. An okay effort for the masses.

Tasty beer, with nutty undertones. Smooth and creamy with a hint of roasted coffee beans on the finish. Still has that mass-produced taste, lacking a true complexity. Compact head, which diminishes quickly.
