Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Sample from bottle @sbwf13. Dark brown with tan head. Aroma a bit roasted, chocolate and small coffee notes. Taste with roasted malt, coffee, light chocolate. A bit thin in my humble opinion

It has sort of a hard taste. You get the flavor in the form of the after taste. Still a good brew. I ate a brownie when I had one and it was perfect.

Aroma is strong in coffee, nutty, roasty, and some chocolate and caramel notes. A bit smoky too. Appearance is the darkest of browns/black, very thick, no transparency. Head is light brown, medium froth. Taste is quite similar to aroma, coffeeish, chocolate, nutty. Medium bitter. Delicious. Body is full, yet some carbonation. Thick texture with long finish.

This beer was a delight. It has an earthy, full bodied feel with just the right amount of bubbles.

Yet another of my favorite stouts. Sam Adams never lets me down. This beer has a heavy chocolate taste with enough vanilla in it to give it that creamy texture.

Wow, no offense meant, but this was a nice surprise. I was rather skeptical about this beer, but it turns out to be vastly amusing. Nice aroma of milk chocolate, grains in the silo and a yogurt sour nose too (I am aware that no lactose is mentioned on the label). Flavour is chocolates, vanilla, malts (but not char-roasted), dates, and that nutty touch of many american porters. The finish is bittersweet, just perfectly balanced. The beer is buttery as one wishes, and has a nice chalky texture on the bite. I cannot criticise the medium body, as it makes this damn concoction even more easy to drink.
