Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep brown with small offwhite head. Mouthfeel is medium. Tastes are of roasted malts with some chocolate caramel sweetness, albeit on the light side. Very smooth creamy mouthfeel. A decent effort by Boston Beer Company.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown, near black body with a small tan head. Smell: Roasted barley aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and even toffee. Taste: Rich roasted maltiness leads with the taste of semi-sweet chocolate and coffee giving a mocha impression. Some toffee rolls by midway. Mild graininess. No more than a touch of hops in the finish. Chocolatey aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. Drinkability: A pleasant beer that’s very easy to drink down. For me, it’s one of the top Samuel Adams beers.

Very rich pour with nice creamy head. Smells of strong chocolate. Taste also rich with choc, caramel, and malts. Clean finish. One of Sam’s best.

Bottle. Aromas of moderate toasted and dark bread, light aromas of herbs and earth, with a touch of wood and vanilla in the background. Head is small, creamy, light brown, mostly diminishing and has fair lacing. Color is an almost solid brown/black. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, creamy, and has soft carbonation. Aroma and flavors are a bit weak, but still a good drinking beer.

Part of winter mix pack pours dark brown with a thick caramel head that leaves a nice lacing. Pleasant roasted malty aroma.Very light bodied and drinkable. A good stout for people who dont like stout.

Decent, but way overrated. Not that great of a stout. Completely one sided roasted malt flavor. Slightly different burnt flavor to it. No complexity or hops. Light bodied for a stout.
