Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Bottle. Dark brown / black color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. A bit borring with no big personality, but okay balance just a little industrial !

12 oz bottle. Pours deep brown with an amber hue. Creamy light brown head. Sweet, dark, roasted and malty aroma. Lovely coffee notes in the flavour. Sweet without being too much. Coffee goes into a more mellow toffee flavour lingering long finish with bitterness added.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours black with a tint of red and a neat, dense and cappuchinoish, beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied with a very soft and smooth mouthfeel - almost velvety - with accents of hard roasted malt, but all the time pleasant and never ashy. Very subdued bitterness. 200706

Bottled. Black opaque, brown mediumsized head. Toffee, caramel and burnt oak in aroma. Strong wooden flavour with hints of old coffee, also some soapy notes. Rich carbonation ruins the palate a bit.

Very light aroma. Good body, smooth, quite strong coffee and roasted malt taste, somehow ’raw’. Palate with strong coffee character and a light sourness.
