Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Pours black with a nice light brown head. Aroma is very roasted, like coffee and nuts. Flavor is also roasted coffee but with a nice smooth creamy finish. One of the best from Sam Adams.

Dark brown, reddish tints, thin cover of a light tan head. Coffee aromas, bitter roasted malts, sweet but more bitter roasted malt and smooth coffee flavors.

Dark brown with a creamy tanned head. Coffee malty aroma and a flavor with coffee and nuts. Not that great.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2008) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of creamy chocolate and cafe latte. Malty, roasted taste with milky chocolate, cream and a smooth finish with a balanced cocoa bittreness. Smooth and velvety mouthfeel. Tasty, easy to drink and very enjoyable.

12 fl. oz. bottle at Skallerup Klit. Abv is 4,7%. Black color with nice beige head. Aroma is sweet chocolate. Flavor is the same, and it has a bitter finish. Nice, but a bit thin.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Dark, almost opaque in color with creamy 2 finger head. Head dispersed to leave a nice lacing on the inside of the glass. Aromas of chocolate, milk, and coffee. Smooth taste of chocolate and coffee with a surprisingly clean finish. This would make a good session beer.
