Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Very dark brown, almost black color with fine, tan head. Strong roasted malt aroma of chocolate ice cream and coffee. Soft texture, medium bodied, and dry finish. Flavor is sweet and malty, then rounded out by a touch of dry bitterness. Pretty standard, but tasty.

Oct 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Clear, almost black with a nice brown head. Sweet nose, roasty malt and chocolate, plus a sweet, light milk caramel note. Sweet flavor, milk caramel and roasted malt, sweet chocolate and a neat, balancing bitterness to keep it honest. One of the most drinkable stouts I’ve encountered, I put away 3 without really noticing. Nice!

Oct 11, 2008 Pours ebony into a shaker. Dark mocha head recedes to coat surface. Roasted malt aromas. Dry, creamy and dusty. Like iced milk coffee out of a metal cup. Might be good camping.

Oct 5, 2008 (Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2008) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of creamy chocolate and cafe latte. Malty, roasted taste with milky chocolate, cream and a smooth finish with a balanced cocoa bittreness. Smooth and velvety mouthfeel. Tasty, easy to drink and very enjoyable.
