COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

I like the fact that this incorporates a lot of fuller body elements, as well as some non-typical ingredients. A nice creamy fullness of malt, roasted nuts, and creamy unroasted nuts, caramel, and sweet rice almost. I wish this had american hops however, but these english style are ok too.

No lacing with a one inch head. Heavy roasted/toast taste and smell. And maybe a slight taste of butterscotch.

Very dark brown, tan dissipating head. Aroma of bready malt with lots of cocoa, light roast, some cola. Flavor of bready malt with a little toffee sweetness, chocolate, light roast, a little raisin, a roasty/grainy finish dries it out. Medium-full bodied and easy-drinking.

12oz bottle, from Party Source. Best before June 2013. Black color. Light brown head, leaves good lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation, kind of a creamy texture. More dry in the finish. Medium body, decent chewiness. Chocolate, cream, light roasted malt. Good lighter bitter taste, little sweet. Solid sweet stout. Nice balance. Not too sweet, still a satisfying amount of roast and bitterness.

My first Sam Adams offering. Pour from bottle. Lovely dark brown with thin tan head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee, soy. I taste sweet and salt...umami? Thin creamy texture, soft carbonation. Slightly off-putting finish..soy/smoke? A bit of a disappointment to be honest.

Smak och doft av malt, humle, kaffe, choklad. Rostade toner, rund och krämig med fin beska. Gott.

Pours a dark brownish black from the bottle with fluffy tan head and good lacing. Aroma is light soy and slight lactose. Taste is coffee and that typical lactose from a cream stout, but smooth and easy to drink. Pretty solid, but nothing special.

Bottle->SA. Dark brown with small tan head. Roma and taste are chocolate and malt. A little thin, but excellent taste.
