3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle from a mixed 12 pack purchased at Food4Less in Woodland. Comical that this is listed as a Pale Lager. Why not a Premium Lager? The aroma on this is quite hoppy with a significant floral presence along with some perfume. Light pine, and light honeydew melon, too. This is nicely aromatic. Transparent orange body present with a medium, strong off-white head present. Starts with a great deal of piney, resinous hop flavors. Becomes a little herbal in the middle. Light biscuity malts then come through, before this finishes with more bitterness. Floral bitterness towards the finish. An intriguing brew, but certainly not a Pale Lager.

2.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very bitter in the begging. Then it fades away and gets boring and malty. Almost corny. It’s pretending b to be and ipa, but tastes more like a fancy lager. Good Amber color. Weak alcoholic finish. Some fruits too.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was kind of like an IPA with a giant splash of grapefruit. There was hardly any bitterness and it was very smooth. I would go for this again if I was looking for a lighter taste, yet something that still had character.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very pleasant floral aroma. This is an interesting release from Sam Adams. It smells like an IPA but tastes like a bold lager mixed with an APA. Fresh grain flavor blended with hop bitterness. Solid brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It tastes a lot like a nice, vibrant Pale that's been muted a bit(possibly the lagering process). Honestly, I'm not sure I could tell it wasn't a solid straight Pale if it wasn't for the description. Either way, I'll probably revisit this one.
