3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ home. Golden appearance with good carbonation and a white head. Pale malty, lightly grainy and fruity, lager nose with mild German hops. Well carbonated, lightly citrusy fruity, a touch floral, pretty full body for a pale lager. Well carbonated.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours very clear and very carbonated. Yellow color with a head that sticks to the glass but dissipates quickly over a minute or two. Nice hop aroma, if a bit faint. Light and easy hop taste with little bitterness. Slight bitter aftertaste. Slightly creamy and very effervescent on the tongue - actually made me cough from so much fizzing at first.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Crystal clear light golden brew. Very good pure, white head. Aroma slightly fruity and gummy, with perhaps some blooming flower notes. Refreshing character and taste. Well balanced but starts more hoppy and finnishes with a slightly grassy malt. Draws down clean. Finishes cool, but with a texture a bit heavy for a kolsch style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beery aroma and slightly detectable spices. although not really enough that it impacts the taste that much. In general I don’t care for Kolsch-style ales because they always seem oxidized because of the trip overseas, but this is decent, although most likely not exactly on the style of ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a 12 fl. oz. bottle with September 2011 notched out of the label as an expiration date. I am quite surprised that I am the first person to add and review a Samuel Adams brew. This is available in their Summer Styles mixed 12-pack. The pour is a pale yellow with highly agitated carbonation leading up to a thin, white head. The aroma is on the grainy side with a vague citrus backdrop and a thin hoppiness on the edges. The body is light but comfortable. The grainy taste ends slightly dry but it is quite easy to drink.
