COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the traditional German Kolsch style is fragrant and complex. The Alsation hop we chose imparts a subtle citrus note. Jasmine Sambac, a night blooming Southeast Asian flower, adds a delicate floral aroma and flavor to this layered and refreshing brew. Cheers!

Wait a minute......? What the fuck are some of you talking about/?Please email me with the answer? This is an average looking pour with some lacing on the glass and a decent nose. But it doesn’t taste like anything. No flavor whatsoever. I really don’t care what a beer looks loke so much as what it taste like. This tastes like tap water with a little lawn grass and hops added=nothing!!!!!!&

Pours clear gold with lots of sediment hanging around in it. Aroma is malty caramel and floral hops. Citrus, sugary sweetness, and some floral hops, bubblegum?. I don’t know if I have had a Kolsch before but its definitely different. Having trouble trying to pick out the weird taste. Its got alot of flavor for its light body though. Nice and refreshing, Pretty good summer brew.

Clear medium yellow body with a short lived white head. The aroma is very mute but consists of light malts and a subtle hop aroma. Light malt flavor tempered just a bit from a passing of hops. Clean and light; albeit a bit boring. Lawnmower beer.

This is decent. Not special. I don’t get hints of anything. Not bad to just relax with.

12 oz. Bottle from the Summer Variety Case. Floral hop scent, slight caramel malt, grain. Translucent gold pour with a frothy white head, minimal lacing. Light and crisp mouthfeel. Grain fronted taste, slight hop presence, citrus, with a vinous note in the finish.

Poured clear amber into a pint glass. Quick white 1/4 inch foam doesn’t last. The scent is very subtle. I get flowers maybe a little malt but not much. Clean crisp light taste. It’s hard to pin down anything specific. Easy to drink but not really memorable.

Huge foaming white head sits atop bubbling golden liquid. Aroma wafts up to touch the nose and is scented by citrus, hops and flowers. Very creamy on the palate. Taste is light and soft and of bread, yeast, dough with a slight floral bouquet. Very mild, not harsh or bitter. A perfect summer sipping beer.

Clear golden coloured body with perhaps a touch of an orange tint and almost no head at all to speak of. Aroma of pale malt, alcohol and a bit of metal, all with a very potent floral and almost lavender smelling bouquet. Light-bodied; Assertive malt and alcohol flavours at first with that super strong floral almost off-putting flavour. Aftertaste shows a bit more roundedness with malt, some light hops, sugars and the floral notes really hitting hard. Overall, a decent beer - interesting, however, not executed too terribly well. A bit too bitter and too pungent in the flower notes. Decent to try, and pretty much just what I expected from Sam Adams. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Beverage Center in Chinatown (Mulberry St), New York, New York on 09-June-2012 for US$2.50 sampled at home in Washington on 14-July-2012.

Barely there aroma and basic yellow gold appearance leads to a muted taste and lingering mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased from tjhe Western Hills Glenway Avenue "Krogers" as part of the Samuel Adams Summer Style 12 pack - Alright, I don’t know why some raters are confused about this being a light-bodied beer... come on, folks, this is of the Kolsch (Cold Cologne Artesian Well) style! I found it very tastey and refreshing myself!
