COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the traditional German Kolsch style is fragrant and complex. The Alsation hop we chose imparts a subtle citrus note. Jasmine Sambac, a night blooming Southeast Asian flower, adds a delicate floral aroma and flavor to this layered and refreshing brew. Cheers!

From the bottle sweet taste of sugar and hops nothing more than that simple and plain.

Pours a golden yellow with a thick white head and tons of lacing. Very carbonated but hey its Sam Adams. Light bodied but a little slippery with a very short aftertaste that ends on sour off-note. Fortunately the off taste is short-lived and fades quickly. The slipperiness sticks with you afterwards however. I like the aroma, balanced nicely with floral and tropical citrus notes, reminds me of hibiscus and honeydew. Taste is a little flat, nice and clean but very little of the floral and citrus notes come through. A little grainy but still an easy drinker.

Just wasn’t doing much for me. PArt of the summer pack. It is light, slightly fruity, in a whole lower class than those produced in Köln.

355mL. Clear straw pour. Small head formation. Sugary caramel nose. Taste is tangy, floral, soapy, thicker. Sugary cantaloupe with mint. Taste moves to anesthetic peppermint. Palate is mealy apple, powdery, sugar. Overall medicinal.

There are a lot of descriptions listed here, I won’t attempt to add much. My notes: The appearance is fine, but almost no lacing. The aroma is very mild, but not cheap-smelling. The taste is mild (as described by others). The description by the company shows a lot of imagination. Maybe the subtle citrus note and delicate aroma of Jasmine escaped me. Overall, I don’t think it’s a great addition to the SA. collection. It’s a decent beer, but below their average.

Clear pale golden with a thin head. Subtle perfumey aroma of cryastal malts and floralness. Taste was crisp and pale, but not much in it.Light sweetness, no bitterness, a little bready. Hard to find the flavor. Drinkable and smells great, just so flavorless...

citrus, golden, clear, minimal head, lightly bitter, medium body, average carbonation, astringent. Bought this beer as part of a 12-pack with 6 different varities and two bottles of each. Samuel adams used to be a favourite, but most beers in this 12-pack wasn’t that exciting.

Not my cup of tea, too light and well... too light. Pours yellow with a thick white. Very carbonated and extremely light bodied. Kind of a sour aftertaste. This is a good beer for someone making the transition from Bud or Coors.

This absolutely bland. Why did they even bother with this crap? Another example of Sam Adams spreading themselves too thin.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a large sized head. Dried grass, grains, vegetables and sour fruits.
