3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pour hazy golden, two inch white head, some lacing and retention. Aroma of lemon, grass and herbs. Taste is balanced, light sweet, light bitter and a little salty. Light bodied, subtle carbonation, slick mouth feel. Finishes quick. Tasting notes of bread, lemon, allspice, nectarine and wheat. Not bad, easy drinking.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sam Adams has a strange way of doing things. In the same mix pack, they put in a witbier that tastes like Fruity Pebbles and a truly excellent koelsch. I am not sure what to make of it but I am going to enjoy the remaining few of these beers quite a lot. This is a cloudy orange color w/ a small white head. It has a solid, fresh, bready malt backbone and a really nice floral noble hop kind of character. It is full bodied for a lighter beer and yet very dry w/ a good bite of carbonation. I am really enjoying this stuff. It is very definitely better than nearly all renditions of this style by smaller breweries and is the kind of thing both beer geeks and regular folk alike can enjoy. It is worth picking up the mixed Spring twelve pack just for this for sure.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden amber from a bottle with a white head with small bubbles. Not goin to comment on aroma or flavor much, this beer is almost more about what it isn’t. Final result is an easily drinkable beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 01.21.14.
A: See through gold. 1 finger head that recedes quickly.
S: Lemon, cloves, spices.
T: Lemon, some pear, white grape, spice on back end. Has some toast too in the aftertaste.
O: I didn’t care much for this one. It wasn’t bad, but there are better ones out there.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a hazy straw yellow. Fine soapy head sticks around. Smell was tough... Faint and tricky... First taste was light, airy with a faint orangey citrus. Leaves little on the palate at the end. Decent session beer, and does remind me of warmer months...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Aroma is grains, hay, and cereal. Sweetness is in the aroma. Flavor is grain and bread, lightly sweet but finishes more dry. Earthy hops. I really enjoyed this one.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I was pleasantly surprised at this beer. Hazy orange color, aromas of peach, citrus, wheat. Drinks easy even though it’s 0 degrees and 30 below windchill in MN. I got the Samuel Adams spring pack, maybe I’m just wishing for spring.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not the most exciting style but this is a pretty good version, though it’s oddly hazy. Light and grainy with a touch of honey sweetness.
