COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This rich and luscious brew indulges in flavor with over 28Ibs of pumpkin per barrel, for a full bodied sweetness and deep russet color. Classic pumpkin pie spices of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice ignite a warmth and spark that’s deepened by an undercurrent of roasty smoked malts. The result is a delectable brew full of enveloping layers of flavor and spice. At Samuel Adams we love experimenting. This series of limited edition brews represents some of our favorite small batch creations. Style: Pumpkin Beer Hops: East Kent Goldings, Fuggle Malts: Samuel Adams Two-Row Pale Malt Blend, Caramel 60, Special B, Smoked Malt Extras: Real Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Allspice

Initially released on tap as "Double Pumpkin" in 2011, it was bottled as "Fat Jack Double Pumpkin" in 2012.

Dark Amber brew that has a malty aroma with a slight alcohol in there. Taste is sweet malt syrup. Very little spice and absolutely no pumpkin. So thick and sweet that it is almost a sink pour but for the price hate to toss it out. After drinking this whole bottle I can say that it is a complete fail. Need a glass of water to wash this thick garbage on down.

Pint glass at 10th Ave Burrito in Belmar NJ. Great food. Visit if near by. The beer. Very surprised by the whole character. First thing I said was it tasted like it was aged in a bourbon barrel. I likey.

pours a ruby/ burnt wood sort of colour. Huge pumpkin spice aroma with all the classics, nutmeg, allspice and ginger. On the palate it doesn’t have all those aggressive nutmeg and gingery notes that I expected but the pumpkin is there in bunches. It also has a bit of heat adding a sort of burbon character to it. Okay but not great. Too much pumpkin for me.

650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear reddish brown with average-sized light tan head. Aroma is rich caramel and fruity malt with pumpkin pie spices and brown sugar. Flavour is quite malty and sweet with caramel, some dark fruit, lots of brown sugar, pumpkin pie spices and a little pumpkin. Body is on the fuller side. Good.

Smells nice, very caramel malty, nutmeg, cinnamon. Hazy ruby color with a long lasting off-white head. Tastes good but slightly sweet and cloying. Upfront malty sweetness, almost a candi-sugar like flavor, middle is filled with a number of pumpkin pie spices and sweet with an earthy hoppyness. Medium body and carbonation. Alright pumpkin beer.
