Golden pour with a white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, lemon, some pineapple. Flavor is mild. Sweet malts with some fruit. Light hop finish. A very mild IPA. Decent (I had given my 1st one to my brother at the Islands last weekend. Good thing I left one at home for me to come back to)

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle - Pours deep gold with a lasting head and good lacing. The aroma is of citrus and spicy Belgian yeast. The flavor features moderate hops bitterness, spicy yeast, and well balanced malt sweetness in the background. Itís medium bodied and tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sam Adams may make the best Tripel IPA, but I do not think I am a huge fan of this style. Not that belgium beer and hops canít coexist.......just think that american hops just dont mesh well with belgium yeast.

Another Samuel Adams rarity. Definitely an American brewer because I havenít been impressed with any of their "Belgian" styles

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz bottle. Pours clear light golden orange with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is some soap (rosemary) with some sweet bready malt and a little piney hop.
The flavor is sweet sugary soapy malts with a big harsh bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an odd sweet soapy spicy IPA.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a clear dark orange with about a finger of white head. Aroma is mostly clove with a little pulpy citrus and pine. Taste is medium bitter. Clove, spicy Belgian yeast and some pine. Medium bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, great. I would gladly drink this again. Another homerun by BBC

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear dark orange and gold with a 3-finger fluffy beige head that leaves patchy lacing. Aromas of sweet candi sugar, Belgian yeast, and fruit (orange and coriander, peach, plum); some cereal notes. The flavor is slightly tart yeast, spices, and peach. The finish is bitter citrus and cereal grains (corn and rice; like Chex cereal). Low/medium carbonation and body, dry. Good.

4 oz. sampler.on tap. Pours a golden orange with off white head. Nice fruity and malt aroma. Taste is citrusy, yet balanced with banana notes and belgian flavors. A nice IPA, will look for this in a growler!
