Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, sweet spices and yeast. Some malt in the background. The finish is mildly spicy yeast with a subtle hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

bottle - Pours deep gold with a lasting head and good lacing. The aroma is of citrus and spicy Belgian yeast. The flavor features moderate hops bitterness, spicy yeast, and well balanced malt sweetness in the background. It’s medium bodied and tasty.

Sam Adams may make the best Tripel IPA, but I do not think I am a huge fan of this style. Not that belgium beer and hops can’t coexist.......just think that american hops just dont mesh well with belgium yeast.

Another Samuel Adams rarity. Definitely an American brewer because I haven’t been impressed with any of their "Belgian" styles
