4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Straight out of the HopOlolgy box this brew was the first to grace my lips. Outstanding in flavor. The pairing of IPA with a Belgian is nothing new. Coul be a little stronger.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Well done Belgian style IPA for the price. Not as much hops as some of their other IPAs but well-rounded overall.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best by Sept 2012. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some good spotty lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of huge pepper, clove, banana, bubblegum, pine, grapefruit, herbal, floral, earth, and yeast spiciness. Very nice and very yeast forward aromas with good balance. Taste of grapefruit, pine, clove, banana, herbal, floral, pepper, bubblegum, bread, and yeast spiciness. Good amount of peppery bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pepper, clove, bubblegum, bread, and yeast spices on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of hoppy flavors with the peppery yeast esters. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden at 5.7% with pretty much zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian IPA. Great balance of yeast esters and hop flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. I have no complaints here, well done.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours dark with a orange-tan glow and a high, puffy, permanent-looking beige head. Nose is citrus and medicinal -- there’s no fruit really, nothing but astringent acidity. On the tongue, it’s tropical fruit (guava?), spice, and hops bitterness, with a tight, clean finish. Good.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Hoppy banana some honey. Light copper pour. Hops dominate but give way to light fruity taste banana. Maybe mango. Disappears a bit quick. Decent ipa

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours golden orange with an off white head. Spicy Belgian yeast, citric hops, flowery rosemary, with some light toffee sweetness. Pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Interesting that it is in ipa category. Very Belgian in the nose with the yeasty fragrance, a bit of sour and funk. Palate has the hops coming in late following the yeasty characteristics. Nice light orange/dark gold.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden pour with large pillowy near white head. Smells exactly like a pelletized hop (a regular one) that’s just been pitched into the boil. Flavor is surprisingly good on this. Flavor of pine and citrus hop but along with a very nice belgian floral yeastiness and pronounced maltiness. I think I still prefer raging bitch, but this is damn good.
