Poured from bottle. Aroma of hops, pepper and spice. Golden with lasting head. Piney and floral hops with a good amount of pepper are the lead flavors. Toasted malt, spice, grass and citrus as well. Dry feel. Nice stuff.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark gold, with a medium white head. Aroma is all Belgian yeast, and maybe a hint of hops underneath. Flavor is sweet malt and citrus hops, withalong sweet/bitter finish. Palate is ok, fine carbonation but a bit too much. Decent, but not all that special.

Tulip. Clear copper, thick head, cobweb lacing. Odors of pine, spices and citrus. Complex tasting, starts thick but ends clean.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Comes out of the tap a lovely clear amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale wheat head. Aroma is more fruity than hoppy, and does have hints of malt and cloves. Flavor, however, is decidedly hoppy and resiny, with woody, fruity and malty notes and hints of pine and clove. Full, robust texture has plenty of fizz and sass. How could anybody be grumpy after one of these?

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours out an attractive, clear golden color with a small off white head. Aroma is lots of spices, banana, clove, light floral hops. Taste is light fruity Belgian yeast, spice, banana, lingering grassy notes, floral bitterness. light fruity sweetness. Not bad, but Iíd like more hops.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a very clean, deep orange color with a very nice pillowy head with lots of sticky lacing left behind. Aroma has a strong clove, modest amount of banana with a strong earthy and citrus hops character. Flavor starts off with a strong banana and clove mix with a quick bitterness working in the middle that contributes a lot of earthy hops with some light orange. Body is light/modest in feeling with very low and fine carbonation and a light dryness mainly from the hops. Overall a pretty good brew. The hops really provides a nice bitterness that helps to break up the slightly dominant banana/clove combo in this brew. Would definitely drink again if I had the chance.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle thanks to the IPA mix pack, pours a clear dark amber with a decent off white head a little bit of lacing through the glass, aroma has a touch of spice to it with a little bit of must as well, the flavor has a dry finish with more spices than fruit, the finish has just a hint of hops, slick mouthfeel, not bad but nothing crazy.

Poured honey copper clear color with two fingers of white frothy head. Good amount of lacing on the sides. Pretty good retention as well.
Smelled wet Cascade hops up front, giving way to spicy Belgian spices. Some light lime and pine, but also light cloves, banana and unknown spices. Got a bit of honey caramel or toffee as well.
Tasted a bit raw compared to the smell. Couldnít really put my finger on it. Got light pine and light lime, and a lot less Belgian spices (cloves, bananas, spices) than the smell. A little bit of floral notes, but not overpowering. Bitter finish.
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively (above average) carbonation. Abrupt bitter finish.
Was hoping for a bit more. Not the greatest Belgian IPA.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden with a lasting clumpy canopy. Smells of dusty hops, a bit rustic. Medium full nectar with good carbonation. Very vibrant hop profile with a modest malt backbone creating a strict hop character that finishes heavily bittered. Not much of anything else. Pleasing to drink.
