3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from pineypower. Poured a good looking burnt orange clear body that looks rather flat with an average sized frothy off white head. Aroma is nice and very complex, lots of Belgian yeast, banana, flowers, bread, honey, old caramel, bad oranges. Medium to fuller bodied at first with softer carbonation that actually fades very quickly and seems watery on the end. Flavor is similar to the aroma but not quite as good, notes of Belgian yeast, bubble gum, old bananas, flower petals, old oranges and some earth. Solid beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle poured into Samuel Adams pint glass.
Wow -- Iím pretty happy that I chose to save this beer as my last in the Hop-ology pack. Poured from the bottle, it looked exactly how I had pictured it... itís a clear, light amber, sunset yellow color.
The mouth feel and taste are fantastic. This beer is about 170 calories (Relatively low 5.7% ABV) yet is really smooth on the tongue, especially if you let it sit a moment.
And, the taste... one of the better beers Iíve had. My first sip was really bready. A few later, I got some citrus. Near the bottom of my glass, I picked up a bit of bitter, earthy hops. Thereís a little bit of everything in this beer, and itís DAMN good. I donít remember liking Belgian-type beers in the few that Iíve sampled, but this is VERY tasty. I would certainly buy it again ... this was a great way to finish off my Hop-ology pack.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Overall, Iíve decided taht Iíd much rather have a regular IPA than a Belgian-style, as the bubbly spiciness seems to almost take away from the great hoppiness I want in an IPA, but this one is pretty decent. It has a strong hop finish, as opposed to a Belgian-spice finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from the ipa pack. Aroma was pleasant, noble hops and Belgium type aroma comes through. Flavor is nicely balanced with malt and bitterness. Very impressive beer!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Looks clear copper, good creamy head.
Not too bitter or sour, a good mixture of flavors to make up this IPA!
Light body, lively carbonation.

Kinda wheaty, kinda yeasty, kinda hoppy. Interesting experiment but doesnít do that much for me.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma is hoppy, lemony and hints at a strong, sweet floral content. It promises much. The brew is a golden brown that is close to amber. The head is an off-white, sudsy element that settles down after a few minutes, but never disappears. The taste is an unmistakable Belgian wheat with hop mixture that is surprising at first. I simply did not expect it to be right on, but it is. There is a carbonation burn to it, but it is minor. What sticks with you is the aftertaste of the Belgian wheat, which is to be expected. Overall, the palate is treated well. This is a very nicely done Belgian IPA. Good job, gents!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Burnt orange pour that ends with a nice white head. Smells of yeast, banana and bread. Taste is all of the above along with an earthy hoppiness. Palate is medium bodied that starts slightly sweet and ends with nice bitterness. This beer has rather nice lacing. Overall not a bad beer but I could see myself forgetting about it soon.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ Holy Grail, Epping, NH on 9 March 2013. Standard pint shows a golden color with an orange hue. Think head that had some retention. After it warms I pick out light yeast and a light Fruit. The initial flavor starts with light sweet fruit. Must be the yeast. Secondary, mildly bitter with citrus hops and some mild pepper. Medium in body, oily / slick texture with average carbonation. Overall, not a bad choice on draft but I certainly wouldnít look for it in a bottle. This brew happened to be my 100th rating in the Standard IPA style!
