COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI, USA. Deep clear amber-brown. Minimal head. Metallic caramel aroma with some faint cloves. Flavour is all clove, medium body, sweet, some pumpkin and nice sharpness at the end.

Pours a copper from a bottle, lots of heavy pumpkin spice, not really pumpkin-y, just spice, allspice, cinnamon and clove mainly. An okay dessert beer.

From a 12 ounce bottle. Pours a medium brown with slight carbonation. Nose is of cloves. Decent taste. Pumpkin is more sweet than spicy. Finish is muted. This one could be more flavorful, but that might be off-putting to the masses.

Brown-golden pour with a khaki head. Cinnamon, all spice, and pumpkin on the nose. Flavors approximate the nose. Although pumpkin is noted a little easier.

pours a nice amber color, slight head, smell of spices. Taste of pumpkin and spice, a nice change of pace. I picture drinking with snow on the ground

Rated on 10-30-2013 (Bottle from Krogers Marketplace-Fort Wayne, IN) This bottled beer pours a large smooth beige head with a short retention, transparent orange body, slow rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. This beer’s aroma is light pumpkin, lightly malty, nutmeg, and clove. The flavor is sweet, light pumpkin, spicy, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light bodied. There is very little pumpkin element to this beer. It is rather bland tasting and somewhat boring to drink and rate. This is probably the least pumpkin tasting beer I have rated so far.

Opaque copper brown. Negligible head. Aroma consists of nutmeg, cinnamon, malt, and caramel. Thin bodied. Caramel, malt, roasted nuts, and the previously mentioned spices are present in regards to taste, but unfortunately this one is severely lacking in both robustness and pumpkin flavour.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvsn. Clear bronze with beige head. Pumpkin and nutmeg aroma, sweetish, a little yeasty taste. Light body, bitter and a little yeasty finish.
