COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with dense, beige head. Fruity, spicy nose with dried fruit, pumpkin, orange and hints of cinnamon and ginger. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of dried fruit, pumpkin, orange peel, roasted pumpkin seeds, ginger and a touch of cinnamon. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Well made pumpkin ale. Quite nice.

Clear deep amber color, small off-white head. Very sweet pumpkin, candy aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish pumpkin flavor. Harmless but quite ok as a pumpkin ale. Lingering sweetness.

10/4/2011. 12 oz. bottle. from a mixed seasonal case. Dark amber color with a small white head. Aromas are roasted malt with pumpkin and nutty spices. A bit mellow flavors, but caramel and pumpkin are there in the mix. The carbonation is soft and the finish is sweet. not really my favorite style.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear dark amberish brown with a really thin head that dissipates quickly, aroma is pretty heavy on the spice, potpourri like, the flavor has a heavy amount of spice and ginger on the front end with a really sweet finish, I just can’t stand the spiced beers anymore, reminds me of drinking liquid potpourri, and this one is really sweet to top it off, ugh.

Tasted from 12oz brown bottle, part of the Fall mix-pack, into a tulip glass. It poured a hazy copper colour with thin, short-lived beige foam. Caramelly, tons of ginger (stronger than some straight-up Ginger Beers I’ve tasted) with much fainter pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice. Thin body, average carbonation, bland amber ale finish. Not deeply flawed but not good either. Why is this beer getting such high reviews, and why do people love pumpkin beers so much to begin with?! I really don’t get it.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear amber body that has striking gold hues and supports a weak off white head. The aroma offers up caramel malts, a dash of brown sugar and then a modest mix of pumpkin pie spices and pumpkin innards. The taste begins with sweet malts and then a mix of prunes, brown sugar and a modest degree of cinnamon. It gets into mild pumpkin blended with prunes to midway and heading into the finish. Pretty nice.

Medium amber with lots of visual carbonation. Aroma of spice and malt. Medium body with some slight bitterness from the hops and spice. A little on the sweet side in the beginning but finishes a little dry. Not for me.

Awfully sweet, with pumpkin on the nose and palate. Not overly spiced or artificial tasting, but just sweet.
