A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Amber pour with little aroma. Slight spice flavor with little pumpkin anywhere to be found. Decent ale with an off flavor. I wouldnít drink this one again.

Poured a deep reddish amber with a modest head and lacing. Aroma was slight fruity and nutty with slight sweetness. Taste possess a maltiness with a moderate pumpkin and light spices. The finish was of mild hops. Palate was decent. Overall, a very good pumpkin ale.

Bottle. Pours a amber with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a pumpkin and bread combination with a bread backbone. Flavor has a a bit more sweetness with notes of bread, pumpkin and spice.

Bottle. Very little aroma. Very high in carbonation, which is the dominant feature. To me, the flavor is not as bold or spicy as Iíve read, but there are some harvest related flavors in there, just more subtle. A fine beer to drink casually in season, especially with food, but not if you really want a unique fall flavor.

Clear red with tan head. Malty dark fruit aroma. Pumpkin spice flavor with a fruity tartness. Light bodied and watery. Might be better if it wasnít so watery and had a fuller flavor.

aroma upon opening was clearly sam adams. the common denominator was there, not that thatís a bad thing. i found myself wanting a little bit more of a pronounced pumpkin presence, but this was arguably the most balanced beer of the ten, though it finished mid pack. kinda reminded me of a souped up version of their Octoberfest."

Bottle@ trailer, from a harvest mix pack. Clear copper kettle color with ivory head. Phenolic pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin meat, caramel aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Pie spice, toasted pumpkin meat flavors with some lightly sweet caramel___decent.

Pours a clear medium-to-deep amber with a short finger of white head diminishing rapidly to nothing, no lacing. Nose is pumpkin and spice, brown sugar. Taste is sweet and spicy pumpkin, brown sugar, mild bitter. Medium to full body, moderate to high sustained carbonation, and a somewhat sticky finish. Well, Iíll be: a pumpkin ale that isnít terrible - will wonders never cease? This just might be the best pumpkin ale Iíve ever tried! (Not that that bar was set all that high, mind you, but stillÖ) Decently spicy, with a fairly good pumpkin flavour. Itís a bit too sweet, and that adversely affects the finish, but not bad at all. Ultimately, I wouldnít say no to another - and I think thatís the first time Iíve said that about a pumpkin ale.

Appearance: this beer pours with a large tan head that settles into a nice density, the beer is a clear maroon color Aroma: malty, subtle pumpkin, spicy Taste: subtle pumpkin, some tanginess, hints of sweetness but not overly sweet Palate: lively carbonation, medium body, minimal aftertaste Overall: a pretty subtle beer, no big assertive flavors but some good subtle ones, I like it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not overly spiced, mild sweetness with some earthiness. Faint vanilla and a dash of pumpkin pie spice. Liked it because it was simple and not in your face palate wrecking with nutmeg and cinnamon.
