3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. I enjoyed this pumpkin as a sample. Aroma is clear pumpkin, but natural and not overpowering. Beer looks and pours nice with a deep amber and full head. More spice comes out in the taste and a nice amount lingers in the finish. Would recommend as a good choice in the pumpkin category.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, notched "enjoy before FEB." Pours ruby red and dark orange with a small foamy tan head. Aromas of spicy cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, brown sugar, and dough. The flavor is spices and sugar, alcohol, and some buttered dough. Medium carbonation and a bit thin. Alright.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours from the 12 oz. bottle a reddish brown color with a 1/2 finger off-white head that vanished almost as soon as I was finished pouring. The carbonation is very light, I can practically count the bubbles on one hand. Aroma is of spice and a light caramel note. 1st sip brings a note of spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice) with a slight hint of caramel and a rich background of pumpkin. This is the closest to the "pumpkin pie in a glass" cliche that I have ever come across. The mouthfeel is medium bodied. Overall, an Ok beer, but not something I would seek out again.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a deep red with a medium head that lingers for awhile. The taste is slightly thin and watery with the spices and pumpkin flavors coming through in the aftertaste. OK, but not great.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle from a mixed 12 pack. The aroma on this is super spicy with nutmeg and cinnamon. There’s a light, underlying banana yeastiness, too. I guess this is a good aroma for a pumpkin ale. The body on this is transparent with some orangey hints and some reddish hues present, too. Small, quickly dissipating off-yellow head. Attractive, but crappy head retention. Starts a little overly carbonated, which accentuates some spicy cinnamon hints. Some caramel and lightly toasted malts impart a little bit of a sweetness to balance the spiciness, before a little bit of a pumpkin flavor kicks towards the end. A little more spiciness pops up later, too. This is spicier than most pumpkin beers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep amber in color... Aroma is pumpkin and spices.... Flavor is very malty and roasty, but has a nice pumpkin flavor to it, definitely an improvement over the many artificial tasting pumpkin beers out there... Nutmeg and cinnamon spices on the finish... Not overwhelming, but very good...

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I have got to say i rolled my eyes when I heard San Adams was jumping on the pumpkin beer bandwagon. But this offering is a bit above most others on the market for the price. First off poured a deeper amber than most pumpkin beers with a finger and a half head. The aroma is very nutmeg and app spice up front but I do get bread malt as well and some subtle real pumpkin aromas. More like a pumpkin bread than a pie. The taste is a rich spiciness and light sweetness. The nutmeg lingers in the mouth. Medium carbonation and a little thin on the palate. A good fall offering.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a great looking reddish amber, medium head. Great pumkin spice nutmeg aroma. Med-bitter bitterness, light sweetnes. Lighter bodied, average carbonation. Good mouthfeel, nice flavors up front, finishes slightly thin. Pretty good stuff. I would drink another.
