COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Dark ruby orange/brown pour with not much head to speak of (perhaps it’s my glass). Aroma of warm pumpkin pie (cinnamon, allspice and pumpkin). A sweet molasses and honey flavor with a strong presence from the spices. Medium bodied with a nice tingly carbonation. While I wouldn’t call this a "subtly spiced brew" (more like liquefied pumpkin pie to me) it is a quite nice pumpkin beer if you happen to be in the mood for one.

Nice deep amber color with off-white head that quickly fades. The aroma is full of malt and spices, with cinnamon and something else, maybe nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice. The flavor is mainly malt at first with the pumpkin making up a long aftertaste. A pleasant fall brew.

Right or wrong, I feel that Sam Adamas beers do not always get the attention they deserve. This is a fantastic pumpkin beer with perfect color, clarity and carrot. It is a fine"diamond" in the rough, if you will. Color is ruby red brown. Clarity is exceptional with no hue or cloudiness whatsoever, and carrot is the the type of flavor it resembles (a perfect sweet carrot cake flavor and aroma with a smooth pumpkin finish). What’s not to like! Grab a case for Thanksgiving and enjoy.

I was really excited to try this one since I look forward to the release of pumpkin beers each fall. The beer pours a orangish-brown color with a white head. The aroma is classic pumpkin ale, with lots of pumpkin and nutmeg notes. The flavor is more of the same. I get a ton of pumpkin, along with the classic pumpkin pie spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. I also get some caramel malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not quite as good as Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin or ST Pumpking, but a step above most of the pumpkin ales that are on the market. I’m liking this Autumn Pack so far from SA.

(12oz bottle) Pours a clear deep amber-orange body with a medium cream head. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, whip cream, and caramel. Flavor of pumpkin, caramel, cinnamon, toasted pie crust, vanilla, and nutmeg.

Pours a brilliantly clear, deep red, almost brown. Thin white head that fades quickly to a light ring leaving no lacing. Aroma is wonderful. Pumpkin pie spices- cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, with a nice bready background. Body is a little thin, with very light carbonation. Flavor is not nearly as pronounced as the aroma, but still very nice. Tasty beer, just wish it was a little more spicy.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of apple. It pours a transparent amber with a small beige head that quickly fades to thick ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate brown sugar, grain, and a touch of apple. The finish has light-moderate cinnamon and ginger. Light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, too heavy on the brown sugar and the light apple flavors are really out of place.

Most sam Adams beers are middle of the road, inside the box type, and this is not too different, but still one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had.

Bottle. I enjoyed this pumpkin as a sample. Aroma is clear pumpkin, but natural and not overpowering. Beer looks and pours nice with a deep amber and full head. More spice comes out in the taste and a nice amount lingers in the finish. Would recommend as a good choice in the pumpkin category.

Bottle, notched "enjoy before FEB." Pours ruby red and dark orange with a small foamy tan head. Aromas of spicy cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, brown sugar, and dough. The flavor is spices and sugar, alcohol, and some buttered dough. Medium carbonation and a bit thin. Alright. [808]
