COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber orange with a nice beige head that lingers. Smells of clove, pumpkin, and nutmeg are first, followed by cinnamin and pepper. Tastes very earthy, hints of pumpkin, grass, and allspice. Aftertaste is more seasong, like clove, nutmeg, and cinnamin. Even a little peppery. Nice crisp body. A little watery, but nice drinkabilty.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from a mix 12 pack from Wegmans Leesburg.
Aroma: On the lighter side in terms of overall aroma. There is a deep, earthy pumpkin nose with a bit of clove and pumpkin pie spice.
Appearance: It pours a deep tea like color with a small, foamy, off white head. The head fades fairly quickly.
Taste: Very malty and a bit on the sweet side, but it does a nice job of highlighting the pumpkin. The spice is certainly there, but not overbearing. The toastiness adds another nice dimension as well. Overall very well done.
Palate: Medium to rich mouthfeel with softer than average carbonation leading to a slightly bitter, spiced finish.
Overall: A tasteful pumpkin ale that is good welcome to the fall season. Not one I would want to have a bunch of, but well made and worth trying.

Pour is a copper with a small tan head. Aroma is pumpkin spice and a decent helping of nutmeg. Flavor is a little lighter. More of a roasted malt comes out with an ok spice but no real pumpkin. This is ok spice ale but nothing great.

12 oz. bottle- Is it fall already? Pours ruby red to amber with a thin yet frothy white to tan head, aroma is pumpkin and spice, and not some fake pumpkin immitation, this smells like a homemade pumpkin pie. The taste is not as good as the aroma, but still a solid offering, pumpkin flavor and subtle spices. In my opinion a little over carbonated, but thats getting picky, this is a great beer.

Maybe one of the better SA offerings that I have had in a while. Very restrained with the spices and pumpkin, though, like the Irish Red, it becomes a bit cloying towards the end.

Aroma: faint caramel and spice notes. Appearance: clear orange/brown. Taste: malty with pronounced spice characteristics. Palate: medium body and carbonation. Overall: not bad for what it is, but spice beers really arent my thing.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a large frothy beige head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong cinnamon and pumpkin. Thin mouthfeel with a spicy malt and cinnamon with a spicy finish. Easy to drink, a good spice brew from Sam Adams.

Pours reddish amber, medium-to-large head, Aroma is pumpkin, all-spice, and a slight rye note. Flavor is very balanced and dry, very light fruit wit medium spicing and a good caramel backbone. A very good pumpkin ale, much better than expected.

Poured a clear reddish-amber with a thin off-white head that fades quickly. Sweet candy aroma with some pumpkin and coriander. Taste is slightly bitter with caramel malts. Vegetable flavors accompany a sweet pumpkin taste. Slightly light bodied. The finish is bitter and fades quickly. Pretty good overall, I enjoyed this one. Thanks to Arone12 for the trade.
