3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This style has really run out of steam for me. That said this was a decent example. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark caramel-orange color with a large foamy orange-beige head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was spicy - nutmeg and cinnamon mostly - and had a bready undertone. The flavor was dryish with fairly prominent nutmeg, cinnamon and clove and faint notes of honey and bread. The finish was medium length dry spice. Medium body. Solid.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from variety pack. Pours a dark amber with tan head. Aroma of sweet, spicy malt with hints if pumpkin and cinnamon. Flavor is much the same with a light sweetness which is very enjoyablewith a subtle but obvious touch of nutmeg. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Overall, very solid pumpkin brew!

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from the fall 2011 sampler. The body was a nice garnet red hue with a dense, yet small light khaki head. The nose has lots of pumpkin and nutmeg. There is also some black tea. The taste has a bitter pumpkin flesh flavor followed by lots of nutmeg. The aftertaste is like pumpkin rind and leaves. This is for pumpkin lovers that like the spice bite at the back end. Decent, but the aftertaste throws me off, it’s close to iced tea mixed with a stale cigar. Harsh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle - part of their Harvest Variety pak. Bonus - bought the 12’er for the rauch - thought I had rated this! Deep dark copper pour, thin, but long lasting khaki colored head - not much lacing. Very aromatic spicy aroma with hints of pumpkin spice and vanilla. Flavor has the same pumpkin spice theme to it with some underlying toffee and vanilla. Tends to turn a bit too sweet near the end of the bottle - but not to the point of cloying . Decently thick mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
8/22/11. 12oz bottle. Clear amber pour with a small tan head that fades to a film fast and barely laces. Mild pumpkin spice aroma with a touch of that squashiness and definite caramel malts. Actually a decent pumpkin flavor with a subtle but spice presence. I’m not gonna lie... I kinda like this one.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark orange, almost brown. Loose foamy head. Smells like cinnamon and nutmeg at first. Perhaps a little like pecan pie. Flavor is nicely spicy, but not overbearing - cinnamon and nutmeg again, plus allspice. Not bad, actually.
