COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

12 oz bottle. Clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma of pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, and some graham cracker. The flavor is spicy with a slight sour edge, malty caramel and a bit of bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation and a smooth almost creamy mouth feel. Pretty good pumpkin beer, not overboard on spices and not too vegetal.

Beautifully balanced between pumpkin, spice and malt flavor, nicely hopped to offset the moderate sweetness, not too much spice as the malt and pumpkin marriage is highlighted, a wonderful seasonal beer,

Sweet clove and cola aroma. Medium-dark red brown without much head. This tasted a lot better than I expected. Sweet, toffee flavors, spice bitterness, brewed cinnamon in the high palate with some chalk. A little raisin at the end. OK, but best as a marinade.

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, cinnamon, clove and light allspice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, allspice, clove and light cinnamon with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

12 ounce bottle opened 9/3/10. Pours a dark copper color with a thin fizzy tan head. Poor head retention and lacing. Pie spice aroma with pumpkin and a tart finish. The taste is pumpkin, pie spices, caramel. Light tartness in the finish. Medium bodied.

The aroma is full of roasted caramel malt, pumpkin, spice, and a touch of molasses. The appearance is deep amber with a clumpy head. The taste is like the aroma with a grain husk finish. The palate is typical for the style. Overall this is a decent beer but lacks that special something.

pleasant look and decent head, nose of pumpkin and spice, tasted fake to me

(12oz bottle best by January thanks to zdk9) clear rich copper, film of tan bubbles. Nose of banana, rum, cinnamon, caramel and pumpkin. Taste of rum, pumpkin, cinnamon, nicely sweet, and toasty caramel. Delicious linger. One of the very few pumpkin beers I could drink all evening. Had this alongside 14 other pumpkin beers and it was one of the 3 best of the entire evening. Quite surprising!

Bottle courtesy of Elyse during Alumni Weekend @ her place. Very impressive.. one my top nonimperial pumpkin ales. Caramel, malty base... spices arenít over done which is the demise of many in the style.

A toned down pumpkin ale that isnít half bad. A bit of pumpkin flavor over biscuit and caramel malts, with light pumpkin pie spices to go along with it. Very balanced in malt/pumpkin/spice really makes this a drinkable pumpkin ale.
