COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Pours a deep red, topped with a light tan head. The aroma is mostly spice and caramel with a tinge of smoke. Tastewise, the sweetness of the caramel malt really comes through, with a nice dry lingering finish, sweet fruits, a deep toffee note and a healthy dose of spice makes the beer quite complex but still approachable. Medium to full bodied and pretty nice.

Enjoyed during a tasting where my notes were lost other than ratings. Will re rate, but for what it is I did enjoy it. On tap at your local watering hole, try it!

Pours amber with a slightly lumpy head. Surprised by the strong flavor of roasted pumpkin. It’s quite delicious, backed by malt and a bit of nutmeg. Some hops in the finish but not very forward.

Draft at elliott bay. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Big spicy sweet pumpkin pie nose. Creamy medium body, goes a bit watery in spots, soft carb. Bright caramel and pie spice mid palate. Long pie finish.

my hopes for this beer were just that it wouldn’t be another spiced "liquid pumpkin pie" impersonation, and while it isn’t heavy on the sweet and spice, it’s reasonably well-balanced and not a bad addition to their Harvest 12 packs. starchy pumkpin and some cinnamon and nutmeg are in the aroma, with some sweet and toasty malts. roughly the color of pumpkin pie with a fine beige head, and a medium body with a nice finish. a nice fall beer!

Tis the pumpkin ale season...very malty, sweeter and spicier than most. This is solid, but a touch too sweet and nutmegy for me.

Bottle: Poured a red amber color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma consists of light pumpkin and cinnamon notes with a sweet caramel malt base. Taste is a mix between some sweet caramel notes with some pumpkin notes and quite subtler notes of cinnamon. Body is about average with nice creamy touch and good carbonation. Better then I had expected with good level of drinkability and really smooth aftertaste.

I was quite pleased with this Pumpkin Ale. Nice balance between the pumpkin flavor and spices used for flavor. Good medium body. Nothing fake here. Just a good solid fall beer.
