Another Fall season brings me another pumpkin beer. Burnt orange colored beer with a thin, white head. Aromas of earthy spices and nutmeg. Tastes of sour dough, spices, earthy notes, nutmeg, and artificial pumpkin pie. Some roasted malts are present too. Cloyingly sweet, spicy, pumpkin finish. Another pumpkin beer I could not finish a pint off, just not my thing.

Nice caramel brown appearance with foamy offwhite head. Smells awesome, like a Yankee Candle for autumn. Tastes like gingerbread, allspice. Spicy palate, goes down thick and smooth.

Like most Sam Adams seasonal ales its a great beer and a great pour. One of the better pumpkin ales for the season.

YES! I remember having some pumpkin beers awhile back and finding most of them far too watery on the palate to be enjoyable. I had recalled having this one by Samuel Adams and remembered it to be far better. Upon revisiting tonight, that recollection was correct - this has all the goodness of pumpkin taste with a SOLID BODY, not a watery palate. Very pleasant, lightly spiced ale. Almost like spice drops in some respects. Aroma matches flavors. Good beer.

The beer pours dark frome the bottle with a two finger head. Pumpkin spice shows up in the aftertaste.

Pours a orange brown with one finger head that quickly dissipates leaving modest lacing. Aroma strongly of pumpkin and pumpkin spice, toasted malt, and a hint of caramel, herbal hop. Moderately sweet up front, but actually finishes moderately bitter with pumpkin punch at the end. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Oily mouthfeel.

Bottle... from where I have no idea. Pours brown with a small off-white head. Tastes of light spices, lager, and grasses. Tastes of light nutmeg and grass. Finishes with bittersweet malt and spice.

Pretty solid pumpkin offering. Not overly powerful with spice like Smuttynose’s offering. A good, solid brew for a night like tonight.

One of the better pumpkin beers I've had. You can taste the pumpkin and the beer. Usually pumpkin flavor over powered but not here
