A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Aroma: dank and metallic like rusty pipe, not spicy, which is what I would have expected; Appearance: creamy, ever so slightly orangish, head on pour, color like that of dark iced tea, foam lingers on edge of glass, and decent bubble action; Taste: wierdly enough, it tastes nothing like it smells (thankfully), pumpkin spice predominates, although its slightly artificial IMHO, like the same thing they sprinkle on top of a "pumpkin" cappucino @ Starbucks, thereís a decent amount of roasty malts underneath that pumpkin spice though, and those flavors are quite enjoyable, very one dimensional; Palate: not too bad overall, good balance despite the one track tastebud experience of the "pumpkin spice", just the right amount of carbonation; Overall: just a slightly above average overall experience, nothing to run away from, but nothing to rave about either, I think its a great seasonal beer to open up an autumn drinking session, but thatís about it

Not a lot of pumpkin flavor. More like an Oktoberfest. Pretty good still. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Copper or Amber color. This is way too much pumpkin spice for me. It's overdone, not as much a beer as a flavored cola ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The beer is a nicest clear amber color with a small off-white head. The flavor has a nice minimal pumpkin flavor that is equal to the aroma. An outstanding pumpkin ale.

Has an unusual scent of Pepsi Cola with a light sprinkle of Nutmeg. Clear reddish color with a short-lived, foamy tan head. Obviously an "Autumn" brew with the Pumpkin Pie spice flavor. Some cookie dough sweetness, a tad cloying. Iím not a fan of these types of beers, this isnít a bad beer, just not one I can drink much of.

12oz bottle poured into a snifter. The aroma is sweet caramel and pumpkin pie and it pours a clear, oily red brown, amber hue with a llight, off white, dense head that has a light retention and lace. The taste is a nedium high sweet and light bitter combination. The oily texture has a light fuzz, and the medium body has a palate profile thatís burnt caramel with pumpkin pie flavors. The finish has a spice to it with roasted squash and nuts. Itís cloying and sugary with an aftertaste of burnt sugar.

Deep autumn color. Malty nose with just a touch of spice. Very full body. But tastes isnít that strong. Still nice malty brew

pours a nice reddish brown has very a little tan foamy head. the aroma is pleasantly obvious with touches of spices. including cloves, nutmeg, cardamom and cinnamon, the pumpkin is noticeable in the undertones. taste is good but not great. not bad for a pumpkin bear. has noticeable sweetness. finish ends too quickly and has a slight after taste, of burnt pumpkin.

Nice ruby color and a very small head. Aroma is...pumpkin (and a little sweet bread). Taste is very malty and pumpkiny with a tiny bit of yeast and a peppery zest to it. Aftertaste is like pumpkin bread. A very light body and light but zingy carbonation. Very nice! Iím always a little hesitant with trendy flavors but this is a solid offering.

Bottle from the warehouse. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is some gourd, some pepper, spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice. Flavor is similar- some background malt, some nutmeg, some cloves, some allspice, and mild cinnamon. Light to medium in body and not a bad pumpkin overall.
